Wellbeing and resilience are strong predictors of workplace productivity, efficiency and effective problem solving. Emotional resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of change, adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress – it is a person’s capacity to ‘bounce back’ from difficult experiences.
Resilience is not a trait that people either have or do not have. It involves behaviours, thoughts and actions that can be learned and developed to enhance an individual’s ability to have a resilient and winning mindset.
