Reminder: Extra employee support available

Extra face to face support for staff and Members of Parliament will again be available at APH next week. The service is an extension of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Our contracted provider, JLT Assure, is activating extra counselling staff to provide phone and in-person appointments for any MOP(S) Act employee or Member of Parliament.

Counsellors will be available for in-person appointments in a number of locations at APH through the week, starting Monday 15 March from 8:30am and into the evening. To make an appointment for either face to face or telephone services, simply call 1800 945 145. Please remember this number is available at all times, 24 hours a day.

This service is in addition to the 1800 APH SPT (1800 274 778) independent and confidential 24/7 Parliamentary Support Line. This service is available to current and former MOP(S) Act employees, as well as their families, friends and colleagues.

The EAP service is independent and confidential, no identifying information is provided to MaPS, your employing Senator or Member or your colleagues unless you request it. You can find out more about the EAP service on the MaPS website Employee Assistance Program page.
