The Government has resumed bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement to replace the Commonwealth Members of Parliament Staff Enterprise Agreement 2016-2019.

Bargaining is conducted in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009 and the Government’s Public Sector Workplace Relations Policy 2020.
Bargaining meetings
Bargaining meetings have been held on 15 November 2019, 22 November 2019, 29 November 2019, 12 December 2019, 23 January 2020, 7 February 2020, 28 February 2020, 6 March 2020, 25 November 2020, 27 November 2020, 4 December 2020 and 9 December 2020.

The Government has presented proposals to bargaining representatives to amend the current Enterprise Agreement.

Should you wish to nominate yourself or another person to be a bargaining representative at bargaining meetings:
- complete a Bargaining Representative Appointment Form
- give the form to your bargaining representative
- email a copy of the form to eacomment@finance.gov.au
Members of a union covered by the Enterprise Agreement (i.e. the CPSU and ASU) will be represented by their union, unless they nominate another bargaining representative.
