The Leader of the Opposition, Deputy Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the Opposition in the Senate are entitled to use Special Purpose Aircraft for travel in Australia on official business with the approval of the Minister for Defence.1 The Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate may, when the Minister for Defence is satisfied that travel is warranted by special circumstances, travel by Special Purpose Aircraft.2
