6.2 Arrangements on Ceasing as an Opposition Office Holder

The additional entitlements provided to an Opposition Office Holder cease when he or she ceases to hold that office.

Under the Parliamentary Entitlements Act 1990, a former Leader of the Opposition in the House of Representatives who remains a Member of Parliament is entitled to additional facilities, as approved by the Prime Minister.1
