TRAINING POSTPONED - Women in Leadership

Ministerial and Parliamentary Services is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment when it comes to providing training. In line with current Government advice regarding COVID-19, to limit social contact, we have taken the decision to postpone all face to face workshops between now and May. This decision will be reviewed towards the end of August pending updated Government advice. 

Who is the course for? 

This course is tailored for women, however all staff who are interested in developing their leadership skills are invited to attend. 

We are also offering an Inspiring Leadership course which is gender neutral to cover similar concepts.

About this course 

This course identifies characteristics of great female leadership and some of the challenges we face as women and how to build your legacy in leadership into the future.

What you will learn 

Throughout the day, you will learn how to:

  • Identify your personal leadership style
  • Develop strategies to lead with confidence
  • Develop strategies to influence, motive and inspire others
  • Developing an enduring and powerful network that supports and advocates for each other

How the course is delivered 

One day, face-to-face workshop.

Eligibility to attend 

MOP(S) Act employees



Courses offered as part of the Professional Development Program (PDP), under the Commonwealth Members of Parliament Staff Enterprise Agreement 2016-2019, are provided free of charge.
