This seminar focuses on the Senate committee system specifically including the purpose and types of committees, and their powers. It traces the committee inquiry process and considers Senate estimates, including the rights and responsibilities of officers appearing at estimates hearings.
Writing constituent-focused emails and letters

Writing clear, succinct emails and letters is a core part of any electorate office’s function. During this two-session workshop participants will learn to write correspondence with a constituent-focused tone, whilst concisely addressing all the relevant issues.

Develop your ICT skills through the many training options offered by DPS ICT Training. Browse ICT Training Services for training in the Microsoft Suite or Adobe software, create those impactful presentations, learn basic programming and more. To enrol, you’ll need to submit a DPS-Sourced Training Course request form via the ParlICT website.
