Flu vaccination program

The annual flu vaccination program for Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 employees is underway.

Participation in the flu vaccination program is optional and the decision to be vaccinated rests with each employee.

MaPS will reimburse the cost of the vaccine, up to $25.00, administered by a medical practitioner or health professional. This amount is the indicative retail price of the vaccine.

Please note, whilst this will not provide immunity against coronavirus, vaccination against repiratory illnesses is highly recommended to protect your health. For further information about the COVID-19 vaccine, please see COVID-19 Vaccination.

Seeking reimbursement

To seek reimbursement, complete the Flu Vaccination Program Consent Form. Ensure you have your receipt, which must be uploaded with the form.

Reimbursement will be made for the cost of the vaccine only. MaPS will not reimburse for additional costs incurred for any medical consultation or administration related to the vaccination, or cover any travel expenses related to attendance for the vaccination.
