The program offers a range of topics to enhance your skills and knowledge including on demand training that can be completed at any time.

Safe and Respectful Workplaces foundations
The Safe and Respectful Workplaces training program addresses issues relating to sexual harassment, sexual assault and workplace bullying.
Mental Health First Aid in the workplace
Becoming a Mental Health First Aider will mean you are more able to assist someone who may be developing a mental health problem or is experiencing a mental health crisis.
Media Relations - Expression of interests registration
Media relations training is for those employees who deal with members of the media who need to report on their parliamentarians priorities and public messages. You’ll learn how to develop relationships with journalists and other media personnel, craft messages and respond to breaking stories.
On demand training and resources
PEMS Training for New & Continuing Staff with NEW Office Functions
This PEMS training can be customised to your training needs and functions in accordance with your office usage. For example:
- Lodge a claim for payment
- Review an office expense claim
- Certify an office expense claim
- Customise PEMS tiles on your homepage
- Scanning with your smartphone
ICT Training
The ICT training opportunities is offered by the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS). ICT training will enable you to develop new skills such as, in Microsoft Suite, Adobe software, create impactful presentations or to learn basic programming and more.
