From 1 July 2026, the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority (IPEA) will be responsible for the office expenses and office budgets.

Information on office expenses and office budgets will be available on this page until 1 August. You will also find this content on the IPEA website from 1 July.

Parliamentarians are provided with an annual budget for office expenses under s67 of the Parliamentary Business Resources Regulations 2017 (the Regulations). You are also provided with budgets or limited resources that cover other types of expenses under either the Parliamentary Business Resources Act 2017 or the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 frameworks, including in relation to:
