Mental health problems can affect anyone in the community and inaccurate and stigmatising attitudes towards people with mental illness are common. Many people lack the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support a friend, family member or co-worker experiencing a mental health problem, including how to approach someone and start a safe conversation.

You are invited to attend an introductory three hour information session designed for employees who are undertaking an office management role.

The session will provide an opportunity to discuss your office management role with a Ministerial and Parliamentary Services Advice and Support Director.

You are invited to attend an information session that will provide an opportunity to discuss your employment conditions with a Ministerial and Parliamentary Services Advice and Support Director.

MOP(S) Act Employment – Terms and Conditions is a three hour information session covering the terms and conditions of MOP(S) Act employment.

Suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians between 15 and 44 years of age. Stressful life events, trauma, mental illness and drug and alcohol abuse are some of the contributing factors to suicide. Many people lack the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support a friend, family member or co-worker who may be at risk of suicide. By helping to dispel the fear and stigma around suicide, the LivingWorks Start program contributes to an open and supportive community where people at risk can get the help they need to stay safe.
