The Parliamentary Workplace Support Service (PWSS) provides an annual flu vaccination program for all MOP(S) Act employees. Participation in the flu vaccination program is optional and the decision to be vaccinated rests with each employee.

MOP(S) Act employees can access the program through the following options:

  • Pharmacy flu voucher – obtain a voucher through the PWSS flu vaccination portal for use at over 2000 pharmacy locations. Vouchers are available until 31 July 2024.
  • Parliament House onsite clinic – access the Parliament House onsite vaccination clinic , administered by the Department of Parliamentary Services which finishes on 4 April 2024.
  • Reimbursement – claim reimbursement for the cost of a flu vaccine administered by a medical practitioner or health professional (up to a total of $30.00).
Reimbursement claims can be made via the PWSS flu vaccination portal or submitted through PEMS via the Office Expenses tile. Refer to further instructions below:

What you need to do

To ensure timely receipt of your reimbursement:

  1. Claim for the cost up to $30.00
  2. Attach your receipt
  3. Use one of the two expense codes:

  1. In the description use the following words:
